Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized support to students with moderate to severe needs through a summer ESY special education teaching contract based in Bucks County, PA. This role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction in various school settings with a schedule running June 29 to July 30, 2026, Monday through Thursday. Teachers work from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with direct student interaction from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Orientation and preparation run June 2325, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized educational programs for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
• Manage classroom environments in public elementary and middle schools within Bucks County.
• Collaborate with related service providers and school staff to meet student needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for students.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Pennsylvania Special Education certification or Emergency Permit with proof of enrollment in certification program.
• Experience working with students exhibiting moderate to severe disabilities and challenging behaviors.
• Ability to commit to the full ESY schedule, including orientation and instructional days.
• Reliable transportation with residence within 35 minutes of assigned school site.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of Pennsylvania Department of Education credentialing timelines.
