JSIL Software Systems Integrator Location: Onsite in Huntsville, AL Description: Seeking a motivated, creative, and ambitious
Systems Integrator to join the Joint Technology Center - Systems Integration Lab (JSIL) Tech Center in Huntsville, AL.
Job Responsibilities: - Designing and implementing solutions for software systems configuration, network implementation, and software system deployment methodologies.
- Developing and testing the configuration of a system of systems; and documenting the steps necessary to reproduce that process consistently in support of various platforms
- Will perform requirements analysis of the multiple platforms and identification of applicable requirements, gaps, or improvements for simulation software systems.
- Create automated scripts
- Create and maintain process/procedures across multiple systems.
- Create processes that follow standard system engineering processes.
- Support Azure DevOps and Agile project management and source control/software testing environment.
Required Skills: - Experience with integration of Mission IT Systems (Servers, Network Equipment , Switches, Firewalls, Virtualized Software, etc.).
- Functional experience using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit to deploy servers and/or client systems.
- Working understanding of the configuring and troubleshooting of network equipment.
- Experience writing automated scripts.
- Experience working in both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Understanding and experience with VMware ESXi & KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) server technologies.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have an Active Secret clearance
Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience) and three (3)+ years of
• 6 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
