If so, then we have an exciting opportunity for you. Henn Lesperance PLC is looking to add a third legal-nurse consultant to our leading medical malpractice defense team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Formal training in “legal nurse consulting” is not required, but an incredible attention to detail, strong intrinsic work ethic, and desire to “solve the [medical] case” is needed. If selected, you will work with us analyzing and summarizing medical records, meeting with clients and expert witnesses, and guiding (i.e., teaching) the attorneys on various medical issues in a case as they prepare to cross-examine witnesses in depositions and at trial. The position offers a primarily remote work arrangement after onsite training with our current legal nurse consultant and attorneys, though periodic in‑office work is required. Qualifications:
A nursing degree (RN or LPN) with a minimum of five years of clinical experience, a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a proficiency with basic computer programs such as Outlook, Adobe, and Word. Our benefits package includes competitive pay based on experience, health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and various other benefits. The compensation range for this position is $85,000-$100,000 and will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
