Summary: NTTA has several internship opportunities at their Corporate Headquarters in Plano, Texas. The internship program is designed to allow interns to gain valuable skills through hands-on experience of the day-to-day operations of a successful toll road entity.
The Business Analyst / Quality Analyst within the Project Management Office (PMO) serves as a key link between business stakeholders, technology teams, and quality functions supporting NTTA's back-office systems. This role is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating requirements while ensuring solutions meet business needs, quality standards, and compliance expectations. This position brings a strong quality mindset, supporting testing activities, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across PMO led initiatives.
Pay Rate :
$18.00/hourly The 12-week (Monday, May 18th, 2026, to Friday, August 7th, 2026) Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the United States immediately. This position is not available for H1-B visa sponsorship. Key Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Senior Manager, IT PMO, the Business Analyst/Quality Analyst will oversee and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects, including but not limited to:
- Ensure requirements are clear, complete, testable, traceable, and aligned with business objectives, compliance standards, and system constraints.
- Support updates to requirement artifacts such as business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flows.
- Apply a quality focused mindset when reviewing requirements, documentation, and deliverables.
- Assist with basic quality checks to ensure requirements are testable and aligned with business objectives.
- Support acceptance criteria development and review test cases for alignment with documented requirements.
- Participating in defect review or triage sessions as a learning opportunity.
- Help analyze current processes and document "as-is" workflows.
- Assist in identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement.
- Support root cause analysis activities and contribute to lessons learned documentation.
- Participate in post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement discussions.
- Attend stakeholder meetings, workshops, and working sessions to observe and take notes.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders under supervision.
- Escalate questions, risks, or issues proactively to assigned mentors or supervisors.
- Collaborate with PMO, IT, and business team members to gain exposure to cross-functional work.
- Learn and follow PMO methodologies, templates, and best practices.
- Gain exposure to Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery approaches.
- Demonstrate curiosity, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

Requirements: - Currently enrolled or completion of junior or senior year towards an undergraduate/graduate degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics.
- GPA of 3.0
- Possess excellent research and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong communication, organizational and technical skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Fast learner and team player with a willing to learn attitude, that is adaptive and receptive to various duties and assignments.
