About the Role:

Alper JCC Miami is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Basketball Coach to lead youth basketball sessions in a positive, structured, and fun environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship while fostering a safe and engaging experience for participants.

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursdays: 4:00 PM - 6:15 PM.
• Saturdays: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead basketball practices focused on skill development and game fundamentals.
• Coaching a youth league team 
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere for players of varying skill levels.
• Ensure participant safety at all times.
• Communicate effectively with JCC staff, parents, and participants.
• Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled sessions.

Qualifications:

• Prior basketball coaching or playing experience (youth coaching preferred).
• Ability to work well with children and teens.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Dependable, energetic, and professional demeanor.
• Background check required.
